The bayonet connection system used in the SteriFlange has been designed to ensure a safe, quick, and hygienic connection, fully compliant with the strictest sanitary standards—particularly for the pharmaceutical, food, and fine chemical industries.
Based on a controlled rotational mechanism, the system enables the coupling of two components through an insert-and-twist motion that locks the flange in place using grooves and guiding profiles. This principle ensures self-centering and precise, repeatable locking—even after numerous usage cycles.

- The operator inserts the male-profile component into the SteriFlange.
- With a light manual rotation, the two elements securely lock together.
- A hygienic gasket positioned between the surfaces ensures a perfect seal, without the need for tools or auxiliary devices.
