Docking System
The Docking System is an automated solution designed for the remote opening and closing of butterfly valves installed on gravity discharge stations. The system allows multiple valves to be operated using a single device, thereby reducing the need for manual intervention.
It is equipped with an integrated tilting mechanism that compensates for any misalignments during the coupling phase between the valve mounted on a mobile container (BIN, hopper, etc.) and the actuator device installed on the plant, both in the horizontal (right/left) and vertical (up/down) directions.
The Docking System has been developed to meet the requirements of fully automated plants, where no operator is expected to be present during the connection phase between the container and the process line.
